1. autoBarcode：條碼是 續增 EAN-13 條碼。
2. DefaultClassificationSource：使用 中文圖書分類法 做為預設分類法來源。
3. AggressiveMatchOnISBN：以記錄匯入工具匹配ISBN時， 做 企圖主動地對映匯入紀錄 ISBN 的所有型式，從 ISBN 欄位找出對映的現有編目紀錄。 若打開 UseQueryParser，則此偏好沒有影響。
4.  AggressiveMatchOnISSN：在記錄匯入工具裡，採用對映 ISSN 的方式：做 在匯入記錄的 ISSN 欄位中，比對 ISSN 的多種變形。UseQueryParser 設為開啟時，此偏好對其沒有影響。
5.  SpineLabelAutoPrint：使用快速書標印表機時， 要 自動彈出列印對話窗。

MARC 1969年幾乎定案，每年小修。

美國是帝國主義，以文化侵略各國。例如：重視英文程度。

• 英美圖書館協會

英國圖書館協會，早期命名為Library Association（太大牌了！！！），現已改名

美國圖書館協會，命名為American Library Association（American意為美洲，包含：北美洲、中美洲、南美洲）

• 馬其頓名稱爭議

希臘方面認為古馬其頓人為古希臘人的一支，古馬其頓王國屬於希臘歷史。

馬其頓共和國宣稱自己是馬其頓王國和馬其頓社會主義共和國的繼承者，因此堅持使用「馬其頓」這一國名。

一、核心定義（core -- Glossary）
An indication that an RDA element, element sub-type, or sub-element is required to support specified user tasks according to the FRBR assessment of the value of each attribute and relationship.

1. 目的：支援讀者工作
   核心元素協助使用者「查詢」、「辨認」、「選擇」、「獲取」所需資源。（FRBR文件，評估資源的屬性、關係，指明讀者的工作為這四種）
2. 若資源資訊適用核心元素且立即可得（非搜尋才知道），編目必須著錄。

二、Title被分類為九種元素（屬於sub-type／sub-element）：

1. Title proper
2. Parallel title proper
3. Other title information
4. Parallel other title information
5. Variant title
6. Earlier title proper
7. Later title proper

• 保健食品為什麼越來越多？

藥廠開發新藥，有一段很長程序，包含：動物、人體實驗，順利的話個需要3～5年，共需要6～10年上市。通常在動物實驗中，就會發現一些小錯誤，而成為保健食品（非藥品），因其門檻較低，對外聲稱經費不足。

• koha社群

任何人都可以參與自由軟體社群。Koha社群每年都會舉辦年會，不須報名或繳會費，今年美國，曾經馬尼拉（離臺灣最近）
如何加入社群？Get involved

1. 強化koha
   koha發展24小時全年無休（因為online），任何時間可以提任何問題，可透過Bug資料庫（Bugzilla）報告bug（對koha有任何意見都稱為bug，包含：新增功能或錯誤資訊）。
   Koha has development going on around the world, 24/7.
   群募：群眾募資（co-sponsors）
2. 網際網路中繼聊天（Internet Relay Chat，簡稱IRC）－考試重點！！！
   使用的伺服器埠預設有6667（公開明文傳輸，如：irc://irc.freenode.net）、6697（SSL加密傳輸，如：ircs://irc.freenode.net:6697）等。
   1988年8月創造IRC，取代一個MUT的程式。
   Koha channel人性化，除終端機，還可使用瀏覽器（browser）
3. 軟體開發者
   Koha git網址：http://git.koha-community.org/gitweb/
   Git是一種自由軟體，作用：控制版本
   註：控制版本不以書、軟體為限，包含：共同工作，確認事情不重複

• 智慧財產權爭議

嚴格來說，只有商標權爭議。
Koha在紐西蘭起家。
Koha的官網稱，Koha創始單位，赫羅范努瓦圖書館，贏得Koha商標權訴訟。1999年，赫羅范努瓦圖書館委託卡提朴公司開發GNU GPL授權的圖書館管理軟體，命名為Koha。

2009年，LibLime（圖書館萊姆）公司向美國申請商標→LibLime Koha
修改koha許多Bug、文件，而不回饋分享。
企圖建立另一個koha，產生分歧（fork）

Koha社群成員認定該公司意圖分裂軟體與社羣，於是建立獨立的網頁、原始碼典藏所及社羣，脫離該公司的掌控

2010年3月，Liblime PTFS（軟體服務）欲壟斷市場，購入卡提朴公司的Koha部門後，因而向紐西蘭提起Koha商標權的申請。

2011年11月，該公司宣稱向紐西蘭智慧財產局申請Koha商標，雖有購買卡提朴公司的Koha部門，但沒有購買Catalyst mailing伺服器，經過Koha社群及Catalyst公司的異議，並募資訴訟費用，2013年12月撤銷駁回其商標申請，並由該公司訴訟費用。退還的訴訟費用，在紐西蘭成立理事會。

一、發佈資訊

   註：套件大約於2017.12.4發佈

二、特色
出現新的版本編號，表示有新功能：9個新功能，138個補強，350個錯誤修正。
It includes 9 new features, 138 enhancements, 350 bugfixes.

註：軟體由一個個程式堆疊而成，強化即貼補丁（修補程式），一個補丁就會影響其他套件，故必須一一測試所有套件，工程浩大

（一）強化密碼的複雜性Allow enforcing password complexity：小寫＋大寫＋數字

New system preferences：RequireStrongPassword

Add the option to enforce a strong password policy. 

That policy would mean that passwords should include 1 lowercase, 1 uppercase and 1 digit. 

This option is turned on for new installations.

四、版本更新

「套件」安裝法。若以update、upgrade指令進行更新、升級，套件可升級至最新版本，作業系統不更新版本。

更新時機通常是Koha官網宣告過去版本不再維護，自己也沒有能力維護；通常一步到位，更新到最新版本。

由於指令簡單，更新容易，版本變動，其他相關部分（不見得是套件）也必須連動更新，相關非套件無法自動更新，導致一些功能無效，故一般圖書館不以「套件形式」安裝。
