Koha Release Schedule
We work on a time based release cycle. - 輸出有兩種版本
(1) 新功能 ：每6個月釋出一次
(2) 修訂錯誤：每月釋出
All code is developed in the open, from multiple developers all around the world. This code is separated into adding new features, and fixing bugs.
New features are released every six months.
Every month we release a bugfix release also, - Download Koha > List of all released versions of Koha > old_releases/

- koha 3 以前沒有MARC
- 目前最新版本：koha-18.05.00.tar.gz.sig2018-05-24 17:45 (17.11.05以前為舊版本)
- 程序
(1)A bug/enhancement is submitted by the ‘bug reporter’.錯誤報告者(包含錯誤/強化)
註：新功能也是bug
(2)A patch is submitted by the ‘patch writer’.補釘撰寫者
(可選擇的)(optional) RM pushed it as a QA branch.
專案經理(Release Manager，RM)將寫好的補釘推到品質保證(Quality Assurance，QA)部門
(4)The patch is tested and signed off by the ‘patch signer’
補丁簽名者測試並背書(stop work不用再做了，我已經看過了)
(5)The patch is tested by the QA manager, patch status is set to Passed QA
品質保證經理測試後，將補釘設為「pass」
(6)The patch is tested and signed off by RM
專案經理測試並背書(此時，不一定會換到下一個版本，由專案經理決定)
(7)If the patch passes, it is pushed into master by the RM, status is set to Patch Pushed.
專案經理決定釋出下一個版本，將狀態設為「push」
(8)The bug is marked resolved by the ‘bug closer’.
錯誤終結者確定是否完全解決錯誤
(9)The bug is closed when a release is made containing that patch.

1993年，丹麥哥本哈根羅尼‧艾柏格（Ronni Abergel）因親眼目睹朋友在一次種族糾紛中遇刺重傷，使其與四位青年朋友開始思考種族衝突議題，並在哥本哈根成立「停止暴力」（Stop The Violence）組織，短短幾年間在丹麥就超過3萬人署名加入。
2000年，停止暴力組織獲邀共同籌辦丹麥羅斯克爾德音樂節（Roskilde Festival），主題是反暴力、鼓勵對話和建立關係，讓所有參加音樂節的民眾透過面對面的溝通，消弭對彼此的誤解，於是真人圖書館的概念由此萌芽成形。
二、新北市立圖書館總館
真人圖書館將人當成書，圖書館除了可以借書外，也可以借人，尤其現代人越來越習慣網絡上的虛擬生活，人與人之間的交流卻越來越疏離。
為了鼓勵民眾多閱讀，新北市103年推出人與人交流平台的「真人圖書館」，邀請到各個領域、不同生命經驗的「真人圖書」（值得學習的人），和民眾面對面溝通分享，讓閱讀更具臨場感。希望藉由真人圖書館閱讀活動，提供一個沒有壓力的場域，讀者可以充分的與真人書直接對話，彼此坦誠交流，讓不同社會文化背景的人有機會互相認識，讓新北市真人圖書館成為促進人與人交流的分享平台。

四、Koha網址為什麼變更？
Koha圖書館管理系統的官網是http://koha-community.org
LibLime公司在美國申請到Koha的商標權，www.koha.org已經被該公司註冊、取得權利。2009年，該公司與Koha社群成員起了爭議。該公司既不願分享內容也不把軟體補丁回饋給社群，意圖分裂軟體與社羣，於是社群成員建立獨立的網頁、原始碼，公開給所有社群成員，脫離該公司的掌控。2010年3月，PTFS公司併購該公司後，形勢更加險惡。
後來，Liblime PTFS公司到歐盟、紐西蘭申請商標權，不幸被拒。
1999年，赫羅范努瓦圖書館委託卡提朴公司開發GNU GPL授權的圖書館管理軟體，命名為Koha。2011年11月，Liblime PTFS購入卡提朴公司的Koha部門後，該公司宣稱向紐西蘭智慧財產局申請Koha商標權。經過Koha社群、Catalyst公司的異議，2013年12月，贏得Koha商標權訴訟，撤銷該公司的商標申請，並由其負擔訴訟費用。
24頁的判決書指出，該公司的軟體與赫羅范努瓦圖書館的軟體絕大部份相同，惟赫羅范努瓦圖書館的軟體為自由授權，若該公司使用Koha商標將混淆或欺騙相當數量的社會大眾，判決該公司賠償赫羅范努瓦圖書館3,820元紐西蘭幣（約新台幣82,817元）以及3,820元紐西蘭幣（約新台幣76,964元）給Catalyst公司。
商標為地區性，網址卻是全球性的。
